  Six pages, one of them written by a relay to itself and logged automatically, which is the only honest sentence in the file.

1. STATUS

LAX-5 has been active and unmanned since March. Custodian in custody. Traffic is up. Nobody has taken it down and nobody will explain the decision, because the decision was made in a room by somebody who will deny it was made in a room.

DO NOT ROUTE THROUGH LAX-5. This is not a security instruction. It is a favour asked by the room above the hardware store, and the room above the hardware store is worth more to this node than LAX-5 is.

2. WHAT THE TRAFFIC SHOWS

Volume is up 340% since March and the pattern is wrong: it spikes at 03:00 local and the payloads are short. Not encrypted. Short.

Three analysts have said "telemetry". Nullpointer has said, twice, in writing, that it is not telemetry and that whoever is on that relay knows the difference.

3. THE LONG TABLE

The Annex room on this node is still being set. Somebody is still ordering the flowers. The Free Blooms source operates here and a source that operates inside an unattended relay in a building under custody is either the most resilient thing on this network or the loudest.
