  They kept the Reckoning when we kept the Warren, and neither of us has forgiven the other, and both of us use the same rites at 3am without thinking about it.

1. THE RITES

Ten days, ten nights, ten groupings. Fire, water, air, earth, the sword, the chalice, the salt, the ash, the name, and the self. It is not a sabbat. It is the oldest template we have for turning a gathering into a institution, and the Sabbat simply got to it first and wrote it down.

A construct is a Vampire that has been created rather than Embraced: assembled from several bloodlines and bound into a single purpose. The Sabbat have done this eleven times in four centuries and each one has been catastrophic.

2. WHY WE CARE

Because it is the only documented case of Kindred manufacturing Kindred, and because every childer who asks us what happens if you are made rather than born gets the same answer: it has happened, it took a decade, and the thing that came out the other end did not have a sire.

That is the whole of our warning. It is not an argument against it. It is a fact, and it is filed next to the ten groupings so that nobody reads only one of them.

3. OUR POSITION

Non-aggression. Eleven Sabbat sancles have honoured it and one has not, and the one that has not was in Prague in 1997, and everybody on this node knows exactly which one, and we do not write it here.
