Two charts. The first is a warren — a hole in the ground, drawn to scale because a warren is the only place on this network where the map is the territory. The second is the mesh itself, drawn as relative position only, because the moment a relay can be located it stops being a relay.
PLATE I — THE PRAGUE WARREN · SURVEY SHEET 11 · SHEETED BY THE WARDEN'S OFFICE
Depth is given below datum in metres. Markings were corrected after the Prague-sever sweep; the strike-through entries are places that no longer exist as we understood them.
SOLID — sanctioned tunnel, lit at the far endDASHED — unsanctioned, do not walk aloneDOTTED BOUNDARY — warden limit
SURVEY NOTE — SELECT A CHAMBER
Click a marker on the plate, or tab through them. The sheet updates from the Warden's ledger — nothing here is guessed.
HANDLING — THIS PLATE IS A LIST OF ROOMS
A warren plate is the single most dangerous document this network produces. It is not forbidden, because a warren nobody can draw is a warren nobody can reach when the sweeps come. It is restricted, and it leaves this page only as a burned impression, and the burned copy is never current. If you are reading a copy of this sheet, assume the copy is older than the tunnels.
Chambers F and K were re-surveyed after the sweep. Chamber F is no longer a chamber. The mark remains because removing a mark is how you lie to yourself about a hole.
PLATE II — RELAY TOPOLOGY · RELATIVE POSITION ONLY · NOT AN ADDRESS LIST
Twelve tracked positions. Positions are drawn where the cities are; the lines are drawn where trust is. A solid line means two relays have exchanged a handshake within the hour. Where the burned node sat, the line is struck through, because the network has not yet agreed to pretend it was never there.
SOLID GREEN — ACTIVEBILE — QUIET, no handshake inside the windowDARK RING — FALLENDASHED RING — GHOST, rumour only
RELAY RECORD — SELECT A NODE
Records are pulled from the live census on the network page. The twelfth position is not a relay; it is a number we keep assigning to a rumour.
WHY THE LINES CROSS THE ATLANTIC FOURTEEN TIMES
Because we built the mesh to survive the loss of a continent, and then lost a city instead. The Vienna burn severed the eastern spine; the reconstruction runs the traffic the long way round, and every long way round is a place a hunter learns to watch. The graph is ugly because the alternative was a graph that ends in an ash box in the Operngasse.
CITY SEWER SURVEYS — 209 NODES CHARTED
Procedural chart of every city node on the registry. Pick a city; its survey renders below. Charts are seeded from the node id — the tunnels are always the same tunnels.
